The School of Management hosted an anti-drug campaign at the Shivagange Betta trekking site located at Tumkuru near Bengaluru city on July 6, 2024.
Faculty volunteers set up informational booths at key points along the trekking trail, distributing pamphlets and engaging in conversations with trekkers. The campaign also featured educational sessions where experts discussed the health risks and social consequences of drug use. Interactive activities and pledge-taking ceremonies encouraged participants to commit to a drug-free lifestyle.
The initiative received positive feedback from the trekking community, with many appreciating the effort to address a critical issue in a unique setting.
