Dr. Shikha has an experience of over 9 years in academics and 2 years in industry. She completed her Bachelors from Sri Venkateswara College (Delhi University) and Masters from Delhi School of Economics (DU). She worked with Usha International Limited, Gurgaon; successfully handled vendor management and marketing portfolio for Japanese and Chinese vendors. She interned with Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to develop self-sustainable financing model for rural belts. During her last stint with Delhi University, she taught papers of Marketing to undergraduate and postgraduate students. She mentored minor research projects at under graduate level. She convened the Film Screening Committee which did a pioneering work in blending learning with cinema. She earned her doctorate in Comparative Advertising from Centre for Management Studies, Jamia Millia Islamia. She has presented and published her research work in national and international conferences/ journals, authored chapters in book and also developed E-Lesson for Delhi University’s Institute of LifeLong Learning (Virtual Learning platform).
