Dr. Chithambar Gupta V

Dr. Chithambar Gupta V, Associate Professor, School of Management, Presidency University holds a PhD in Management, from Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Masters Degree in ‘Management’ from the prestigious “Indian Institute of Science” (IISc), Bengaluru and B. Tech degree in ‘Civil Engineering’ from JNTU, Hyderabad. He has 20 years of rich work experience. He has 7+ years of Industry experience in leading MNCs like Oracle Financial Services, Bengaluru & Sungard System Access Ltd, Singapore as Business Analyst. He has 12+ years of teaching experience at ICFAI, Hyderabad and REVA University, Bengaluru, teaching various MBA subjects in the areas of Marketing & General Management. He has won various awards and accolades for his work. Recipient of ‘BEST TEACHER AWARD’, for REVA University, on the occasion of Teachers Day, on 5th September, 2015. Recipient of various other awards like ‘Special Mention Award’ (2004) and ‘Team Award’ (1999) for his excellent contribution in working in a team and a remarkable sense of ownership towards work. Worked as a member of ‘Board of Studies (BoS)’ and ‘Board of Examination (BoE)’ for School of Management, REVA University. He also served as Program Coordinator for REVA University, MBA Program, and the Research Coordinator, for the PhD Program in Management. He has organized several ‘Management Fests’, Workshops, Guest lectures and Seminars. He has published several papers in reputed Management Journals and Conferences. His research interest lies in the areas of Services Marketing, Franchising & Retailing and guiding PhD scholars in the areas of Marketing and General Management.
