Dr. Jothi Basu has almost 13 years of experience in academia. He got his Ph.D in Logistics and Supply Chains from Anna University Chennai. He conducted Post-Doctoral research in University of Nottingham, Ningbo (China Campus) in Supply chain Management. His previous appointment was with Symbiosis Skills and Open University, Pune as a Associate Professor in Logistics and Supply Chains. He served for Sethu Institute of Technology for 12 years, where he started his career as a Lecturer and left the institution as a Professor of Mechanical Engineering. Dr. Basu involved in international and interdisciplinary research collaboration with faculty members of other Universities which include the University of Nottingham, University of Sussex, California State University, RMIT University and University of Applied Sciences Western Switzerland. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals such as Transportation Research Part E, International Journal of Production Research, Annals of Operations Research and Transport Reviews. He is an ad-hoc reviewer for peer reviewed journals of Elsevier, SAGE, Inderscience etc. and he has also edited book chapters for IGI Global e- Editorial Discovery. He is in the regular panel of reviewer for the following journals:
