Apart from academics, I am interested in event management, environment related issues and social work. As a student, I worked as the technical coordinator for the Civil Engineering Department fest at B.Tech. level. I have participated in the International Asian-Water Bird Census, organized by EGREE, in East Godavari District for three consecutive years. I am an active member of the student led NGOs “BUILDING INDIA” and “AASHAYAM”, where the prime focus is on reducing the school drop-outs in rural areas, providing appropriate career guidance and creating awareness on health and hygiene. I chose teaching as my profession as it allows me to stay in touch with the younger generation and their new ideas and facilitates me to update my subject knowledge each day and to watch things in a better and wider perspective. I am happy to teach as it helps me make myself a better person each day.
