EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING AS A NEW AGE TEACHING PEDAGOGY FOR MARKETING 4.0
April 17-21, 2021
The School of Management Studies (SOM), Presidency University convened Five days FDP on “Experiential Learning as a New Age Teaching Pedagogy for Marketing 4.0”, April 17-21, 2021. The FDP was inaugurated by Dr. D.P. Goyal, Director IIM Shillong who emphasized on the importance of Marketing 4.0 and relevance of Experiential Learning for budding Managers in his address. The Dean School of Management, Dr. Gunjeet Kaur highlighted the objectives of the FDP and how SOM is reaching new heights by following best practices on experiential learning. Dr. Pratika Mishra the Convener of the FDP detailed the five day plan along with Dr. Akhila Udupa. Dr. Nisha Saha, further proposed the Vote of Thanks. The FDP had 30 participants from all across India including Orissa, MP, Rajasthan, UP, Kerala, Maharashtra, Bihar, Karnataka, A.P., Tamil Nadu and International Participation from UAE as well. The Valedictory had two special guests Dr. Madhvendra Misra, Professor, IIIT Allahabad and Mr. Ravi Jangra, Deputy Director and Head Simulations, AIMA. Dr. Pratika presented the brief resume of five days deliberations and later the Guest’s Released the SOM Newsletter, “Management Sapience”, Vol 3, Issue 2 edited by Dr. Pratika Mishra & Dr. Sanjay Kumar. Feedback & Announcement of Best Participation Presentation was done by Dr. Akhila Udupa, Associate Professor, School of Management. The best presentation model was given to three participants: Ms. Aniketa Horo from Gopal Narayan Singh University, Bihar, Dr. Meenakshi Kharb of IITM, New Delhi and Prof. Bhaskar Chakarborty, Social Media consultant. Their presentations were highly appreciated and regarded.Later Dr. K. Krishna Kumar, Associate Dean, School of Management, Presidency University, Bengaluru proposed the Vote of thanks.
