Program Overview
Electrical and Electronics Engineering has been a branch of engineering that has driven the modern industrial society. This specialization within the framework of undergraduate EEE program has been designed to meet the needs of a world which cares for environment and sustainability.
This program provides special emphasis on generation, transmission and distribution of power with more focus on sustainability areas namely energy conservation, renewable energy engineering and energy efficient electric appliances and devices.
The discipline also intersects the emerging area of energy economics.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA for B.Tech
Pre-University / Higher Secondary /10+2 examination Pass with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject
Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to Reserved Category) in the above subjects taken together
Appeared for JEE (Main); JEE (Advanced); Karnataka CET; COMED-K; PUEET-2020 or any other State-level Engineering Entrance Examination.
