BCA (Gaming and Graphics)

Program Overview

This Unique BCA programme in Gaming and Graphics is a new age offering intended to develop skills in the areas of Game design, 3D Modelling and Graphics and VFX.
The programme aims in building technical and creative skills to develop professionals for the Game Design and 3D animation industry which is a fast growing and a very exciting sector.
The programme covers many topics such as Game programming, Computer graphics, HTML, DHTML, XML programming, Development of Mobile apps, SFX and VFX, Gaming and Simulation etc.

Features

1. COLLABORATION:
Designed in collaboration with IBM with curriculum designed by PU Faculty along and IBM Industry Experts.​

2. PROJECT WORK & CURRICULUM:
(i) Students do two minor projects in third year and two major projects in fourth year
(ii) Unique course for imparting knowledge of graphics, which is the need of the hour i.e. good UI/UX.
(iii) Covers extensive programming practices for game development.

3. SKILLS:
Imparting Skills in students through-
(i) Personality Development Program
(ii) Languages like C, C++, PHP, JAVA

4. WORKSHOPS:
Extensive and in-depth workshops.

Advantages

1.CONCEPTUAL & PRACTICAL KNOWLEDGE:
(i) A graphics and gaming engineer will be asset to any game development firm as he will have knowledge of game development.

(ii) Good knowledge about programming language

(iii) Good hold on UI and UX which is currently needed in all the web based and android based applications.

(iv) Next generation visualization techniques like virtual reality and augmented reality will help in making solutions smarter and adoptable.

Eligibility Criteria

10+2 education completed in the PCM from a recognized educational Board.
A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.
