MARTIAL ARTS TEAM OF PRESIDENCY UNIVERSITY WINS MEDALS IN ALL INDIA TOURNAMENT

Three members of the Martial Arts Team of Presidency University won medals in the 2nd All India Inter Zone Pencak Silat (Martial Art) Championship 2019-20 held between 07/02/2020 and 10/02/2020 in Nasik, organised by Maharashtra Pencak Silat Association. The winners were :

1.Sachin B R (20181LME0031) – 1 Bronze (Tunggal)

2.Panchendra H D (20191LEE0008) – 2 Silver (Tunggal & Taunting)

3.Harshith A (20191LEC0006) – 1 Bronze (Taunting)

Overall 400 players participated from all over the country. From our University 3 students participated in the competition in both Tunggnal and Taunting (Fight) categories and they won 4 Medals (2 Silver & 2 Bronze).
