Mr. Mrityunjay Mayank is an Assistant Professor of Law and has done his done his LL.M specialising in Corporate Law & Governance from N.A.L.S.A.R. University of Law, Hyderabad in 2011. In pursuance of honing his skills and making use of academic abilities, he joined as Faculty at National University of Study and Research in Law, Ranchi in November 2011 and had been working in the same University before joining Presidency University this year. He has also organized various Seminars pertaining to pertinent issues namely F.D.I, Consumer Protection, Business Laws, tribal rights and served as Seminar Co-ordinators in these Seminars. Also, he had the privilege of contributing by handling the affairs of various committees, to name a few; Legal Aid Committee under the auspices, of which we organized the First National Legal Aid Fest in May, 2015. He had been Faculty Convenor for Centre for Sports Law and institutionalised programmes as the Faculty Co-Convenor of the Legal Aid Committee. He had also been part of Academic Affairs Committee at his previous institute. The work and internship experience developed over years in the industry and academia has enriched his core understanding of law in procedure and practice and helped to understand the intricacies of drafting, regulatory and compliance norms of the existing legal framework and loopholes. He is also pursuing the Ph. D Programme and presently working on the thesis titled Betting in “Sports and Legalisation: A Comparative Study of some selected Developed and Developing Countries”.
Assistant Professor at School of Law, Presidency University where the job profile requires delivering lectures in different subjects of law, assisting the senior management in academic and administrative matters, coordinating between the courses run at undergraduate and post graduate level, undertaking administrative work as and when required and research based learning to enhance knowledge within self and others.
