Dr. Anirban Kundu is an Assistant Professor in Economics at the School of Management, Presidency University, Bangalore. He completed his PhD and MPhil from Centre for Development Studies, Trivandrum which is affiliated under Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. His area of research includes issues related to Informal sector and informal labour in India; macroeconomic interlinkages among various sectors of the economy; use of Computable General Equilibrium (CGE) framework to understand the macro-linkages. He has also constructed Social Accounting Matrix and used it as the base SAM in CGE modelling. He has published six journal articles out of five are ABDC listed/SCOPUS indexed apart from a book chapter published by Oxford University Press. He has presented his research work in various national and international workshops and conferences, such as, Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi; Bombay University; Agro-Economic Research Centre, Visva Bharati University, West Bengal; SAWTEE-Nepal to name a few. He has been involved in occasional teaching in National Law School of India University, Bangalore and Institute for Social and Economic Change, Bangalore (ICSSR institute).
