”Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim. The better your practice, the brighter your flame.” Yoga Club of Presidency University conducted two events on the occasion of International day of Yoga which was celebrated worldwide on 21.06.2020. An online session on Yoga, Pranayama,and Meditation was conducted to create awareness about the physical and mental well being among the faculty members and staff members of the University between 8.00am to 9.00 am on June 21st which had around 27 participants.
Department of Student Affairs(DSA) organized on campus session for all the Key officials, HOD s,faculty and staff members on June 22 nd, 2020 by maintaining social distance due to prevailing pandemic Covid -19 . Over all 30 members were present for the session in which Yogasana, Pranayama and meditation were conducted under the guidance of Mr.Gorad Sagar Ramachandra.

The session included :
Asanas- Ardha Padmasana, Vajrasana, Sukhasana,Bhujangasana and Sashangasana
Surya Namaskara- 12 steps( Yogic Exercises)
Pranayama-Kapalbathi and Bhashtririka(Breathing Exercises)
Meditation-State of Super conscious Mind
