Ms. Kavya Salim
Ms. Kavya Salim is a faculty at Presidency University School of Law, has primary research interests in the fields of Human Rights Law, Public Laws, and Criminal Law.
She has completed B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and did her Masters in Laws (LL.M.) Specializing in Human Rights and International Law from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. She is a rank holder at the Bachelor and Master level.
She enrolled as Advocate at Bar Council of Kerala in 2010 and has qualified UGC-NET.
Before joining the teaching fraternity, she served as a Research Associate for the Bureau of Police Research and Development [BPR&D] for a term of one year, in 2011. Having a teaching experience of more than 5 years, she has contributed to different National and International Law Journal as Faculty Advisor and Peer Reviewer. At PUSoL Ms. Salim also contributes to the Moot Court Association.
Mr. A. Aravindan
Mr. A. Aravindan, is a faculty of Law at Presidency University School of Law and is pursuing his Ph.D. from Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) in the area of Law of the Sea.
He has completed B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) from School of Indian Legal Thought, Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and did his Masters in Laws (LL.M.) Specializing in Human Rights and International Law from National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal. He also did a short term judicial clerkship, in 2010, under the then Chief Justice of India, Hon’ble Justice K G Balakrishnan.
Qualified UGC-NET in Law, joined for his first teaching assignment at Delhi, back in 2011. Having a teaching experience of more than 5 years, Aravindan got papers presented and published in few National and International forums. Enrolled as Advocate at Bar Council of Kerala in 2008, he also practiced at Palakkad District Court (Kerala).
Mr. SujithSurendran is a faculty at School of Law, Presidency University, Bangalore.
He has more than 10 years of experience in teaching and legal practice. He has taught graduate and post graduate students of law and management. In addition, he has been mentoring students for placements, internships etc.
Enrolled as an Advocate in 2006 with the rolls of Bar Council of Kerala, he has practiced at the Honorable High Court of Kerala and other subordinate courts before embracing a career in academics.
He is pursuing Ph.D and has qualified UGC-NET.
He has completed LL.M (Business Laws) from National Law School of India University (NLSIU) Bangalore, LL.B. From School of Legal Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Cochin and B.Com (Taxation) from M.G. University , Kottayam
