Mr. Basavaraj Devakki is an Assistant Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, Presidency University. Prior to his joining here, he earned his Master’s Degree from NIT Calicut in the specialization of Thermal Sciences. And he has been graduated from R V College of Engineering, Bangalore. Some of his projects are CO2 absorption studies of various nanofluids, synthesis of exfoliation of grapheme using different methods for higher yields, milk pasteurization using solar energy. Currently he is learning the thermal analysis of human skin subjected to convection, radiation and evaporative conditions. His interests are application of nanofluids, biological heat transfer.
